Autodesk Solutions Day 2014
MANILA, Philippines - Finding solutions on how to help design-related industries and communities in the Philippines accomplish their respective business goals more effectively and stay ahead amid the innovations in the business environment through the power of design, Autodesk gathered these industry players for the Autodesk Solution Day last July 10.
The Autodesk Solution Day featured different breakout sessions, which the guests attended depending on the topics' relevance to their business and respective industries. There were discussions for Building and Construction in the afternoon, where most important concerns that different design-related industries try to address these days were tackled.
“The day-long conference allowed all participants to be in sync with all the latest technological developments in the design world and became among the first in the region to test-drive the latest Autodesk software releases at the Autodesk Solutions Exhibition,” said Kelly Chong, Regional Sales Manager for Platform Solutions and Engineering Business in ASEAN.
To find out how to be able to design every detail with AutoCAD®, participants attended the Design with AutoCAD Session.
During the session, guests determined the style and strategies that companies use in designing for the future with spectacular designs along with faster documentation and detailing work. They discovered that there’s every CAD product available to match their needs, from 2D/3D drafting to visualization.
Guests were also encouraged to get the most out of AutoCAD 2015 during the AutoCAD Session. They were encouraged to explore the new features first hand and join Autodesk Technical Evangelist and Cadalyst columnist Lynn Allen in a tour of the many AutoCAD 2015 productivity enhancements such as the modernized user interface, Geographic Location, and Design Feed.
Guests were taught by Lynn with some useful tips and tricks regardless of the AutoCAD release they are using.
“Discussions were led by Autodesk Country Manager, Philippines , Teddy Tiu and esteemed speakers from various design-related industries,” said Alex Ulanday, Business Development Manager of WORDTEXT SYSTEMS, INC. (WSI), distributor of AutoCAD in the Philippines.
