Delta Faucet of US expects Phl sales to grow 45% this yr
MANILA, Philippines - American firm Delta Faucet Co. expects sales in the Philippines to grow close to 45 percent this year amid demand from both mid-range and high-end markets.
“Our (sales) growth in Philippines last year was about 45 percent. We expect to be very close to that this year. We anticipate very aggressive growth,” Delta Faucet general manager for Asia Pacific David Naber said in a press conference yesterday.
He said the growth in sales would be supported by the demand for faucets from both the mid-range and high-end markets.
“The market is starting to see the differentiation of our products. In the past, these technologies were not highlighted,” he said.
The company, which caters to hotels and high-end residences in the country, has launched its Delta Ara Bath Collection, a contemporary line of faucets, showers and bath accessories suitable for modern homes.
“As modern interior designs continue to be sought after in the Philippines, we are extremely excited to introduce the Ara Bath Collection which we believe will appeal to the local market with its sleek design and innovative water-saving technology,” Naber said.
Naber said the growth in sales would be supported by the expansion in the product distribution base.
Delta Faucet’s products are available through local dealers which include Co Ban Kiat and CW Home Depot.
The Philippines is Delta Faucet’s biggest market in the Asia Pacific region excluding China and India.
Founded in 1954, Delta Faucet offers more than 2,000 faucet models under the Delta and Brizo brands.
Delta Faucet is owned by American firm Masco Corp., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of consumer products for the home.
