MANILA, Philippines - The peso moved sideways against the dollar on Wednesday, closing at 43.585 from the previous day's 43.615.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $781.3 million, higher than the $723.25 million posted on Tuesday.
The peso opened Wednesday at 43.6.
