PLDT to offer services hosted by Oracle
MANILA, Philippines - Leading telecommunications service provider PLDT announced that they would be offering Database as a Service (DBaaS), Middleware as a Service (MWaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The services will be hosted on Oracle’s engineered systems to provide high performance computing to enterprise and government customers. Companies can pay a monthly subscription for the services through PLDT’s corporate business group, PLDT ALPHA Enterprise.
The PLDT Group is one of the largest users of Oracle database and Oracle engineered systems in the Philippines.
