MANILA, Philippines - The peso dipped against the dollar midday Tuesday, settling at 43.657 from the previous day's 43.585.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $256.9 million in the morning, lower than the $353.4 million in the same period on Monday.
The peso opened Tuesday at 43.64.
