SM Hypermarket, Savemore among Cainta’s top taxpayers

MANILA, Philippines - The Municipality of Cainta recently awarded their top 20 taxpayers for 2014. Among the awardees were Savemore Market, which placed 18th overall, and SM Hypermarket which came in at the 10th spot among other giant corporations operating within the municipality. Spearheaded by Mayor Kit Nieto and Vice Mayor Pia Velcaso, the local government of Cainta took the opportunity to thank the top taxpayers and recognize their contributions to the progress of Cainta.  As Vice Mayor Pia Velasco said, kayo din po ay bibigyan namin ng pansin. We will recognize and acknowledge your efforts in helping Cainta and we promise to do this every year.” As part of SM’s initiatives to uplift communities, SM Supermarket, SM Hypermarket, and Savemore Market expand their reach to provide service to more and more families nationwide. Aside from being one of the biggest taxpayers, SM uplifts the standard of living in different communities through world-class products and services and local employment.
