MANILA, Philippines - The peso continued its climb against the greenback midday Wednesday, settling at 45.296 from the previous day's 45.31.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $489.1 million as of Wednesday afternoon, higher than the $408 million posted the same period on Tuesday.
The peso opened on Wednesday at 45.25.
