MANILA, Philippines - Fisher Mall, the newest lifestyle mall in Metro Manila, will open its doors to the public on Jan. 29 in time for the Chinese New Year Celebration.
Owned and operated by Mallers Management Corp. of the Del Rosario family headed by fishing magnate Roberto Simeon “Bobby†del Rosario, one of the highlights of Fisher Mall is the four-story Fisher Fashion Store, which will not only offer the latest trends but actually set the fashion standards in the market.
This is complemented by the Fashion Ramp, the mall’s centrepiece and inspired by the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas. It will feature the products of all the tenants, making Fisher Mall a lively and energetic venue for mini-concerts, fashion shows, exhibits and the like.
“We have high hopes that Fisher Mall will immediately make an impact in the retail industry because every aspect of the mall was carefully studied, designed, planned and executed,†Mallers Management Corp. president and CEO Ray del Rosario emphasized.
Among the main features of the mall are the Fisher Box Office, which has five full-digital cinemas with one 3D-capable cinema; PlayLand, one of the biggest arcades in the metro with different play zones for kids of all ages; and the CrossFit Halcyon, the first mall-based family-oriented gym in the Philippines that offers varied fitness programs.
Its supermarket component, the Fisher Supermarket, opened last Dec. 10. It is a vast, value-packed supermarket carrying the freshest fish and seafood at low prices.
The Fisher Mall Food Hall will open with these brands: Elar’s, Kimchi, Iron Sizzler, Adobo Connection, Sbarro, Hainanese Delights, Mongolian Quickstop, Fruitas Counter and Buko ni Fruitas. McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen and Jollibee are also some of the quick-service choices.
Among the anchor establishments are National Bookstore, Bonchon, Goldilocks, Pepper Lunch, Classic Savory, Kokoro Ramenya, Mister Kabab, Western Appliance, Lady Grace, Payless, Henlin, Executive Optical, Kelex, Watson’s, Beyond the Seams, Primadonna, Twinky, Ideal Vision, Otto, TNT, Chris Sports, Maui & Sons, World Balance and RRJ.
For the opening day festivities on Jan. 29, two popular bands will play back to back. There will also be surprise celebrity visits, headed by the mall tour of the newest GMA Telenovela “Carmela†starring Marian Rivera and Alden Richards on Feb. 2.
