Peso closes at 45.12 on Monday

MANILA, Philippines - The peso started the week 12 centavos weaker at 45.12 against the dollar, weaker than last Friday's 45.

Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $687.8 million, lower than the $1.032 billion posted last Friday.

The peso opened on Monday at 45.1.
