Peso closes at 45.12

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The peso further weakened on Thursday against the greenback after closing at 45.12, weaker than the previous day's 45.

Total volume amounted to $816.4 million, lower than Wednesday's $912.9 million.

The peso's continued decline comes as uncertainty surrounds the United States Federal Reserve's decision on the speed and duration of its tapering.
