FLI goes into super high-end projects

MANILA, Philippines - The Gotianun family’s Filinvest Group of Companies is venturing into the “very high-end” segment of the property market through its new Exclusive Collection brand.

Exclusive Collection, whose first project is expected to generate P6 billion in sales, will be a niche contributor to the Filinvest Group, company executives said.

“We feel that today, it’s time for us to launch a new brand catering to really the top end of the market, for those who are really discerning, who expect the best, who expect meticulously done projects,” said Filinvest Alabang Inc. president and CEO Josephine Gotianun-Yap.

Exclusive Collection sets itself apart from other projects given prime location of the projects, low density for the exclusivity and privacy of residents, and international designs, Yap said.

To date, the property group’s brands are Filinvest (homes, condominiums, mid-rise buildings and townhips), Futura Homes (homes and townships) and Filinvest Premiere (homes, townships, country clubs and residential resort communities).

“The market for this type of property is now ready,” Yap said, adding that the new brand puts premium on space and aesthetics.

For Exclusive Collection’s first project, the Filinvest Group launched yesterday Botanika Nature Residences.

“This is the pilot project for a new niche in Filinvest’s market category, one that is higher than high-end,” Yap said.

The low-density project will consist of three mid-rise towers located on a 1.55-hectare lot in the 244-hectare Filinvest Corporate City in Alabang, Muntinlupa.

Filinvest already started pre-selling the two- and three-bedroom units worth P18.2 million and up. The first tower will be ready for turnover in the third quarter of 2017, said Filinvest Alabang executive vice-president Catherine Ilagan.

“The sales value in total for the three towers, in today’s value, is around P6 billion,” Yap said, adding that the three buildings offer 370 units.

Aside from Botanika Nature Residences, Filinvest Alabang will also launch a Filinvest Premiere project in Filinvest City, completing its wide roster of property developments in the area.

For its part, Exclusive Collection is also looking for other project sites to expand its footprint.

“We expect that even in other areas of Metro Manila and the Philippines, we will be launching a handful of Exclusive Collection [projects],” Yap said, adding that another project is already in the drawing board.
