Solaire to house top Asian retail experts

MANILA, Philippines - Solaire Resort and Casino, the country’s premier integrated destination casino resort, would serve as the official residence of top Asian experts who would speak during the 22nd National Retail Conference and Stores Asia Expo (NRCE) organized by the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA).

Michael D. French, chief operating officer of Solaire Resort & Casino, said the resort looks forward to welcoming elite guests of the NRCE 2013.

”They would be housed in one of our 500 luxuriously-appointed rooms and they would have access to our numerous facilities such as a fully equipped spa and fitness center,” French emphasized.

French himself is one of the speakers at the two-day conference and would tackle entertainment as a game changer.

“We are privileged to be able to share with the NRCE participants and guests not only Solaire’s world class facilities but also the Solaire story as a game changer in the entertainment industry”, French said.

The PRA’s guests  from abroad would surely not miss dishes from their home countries as Solaire has a number of restaurants  manned by world-renowned chefs and showcase a comprehensive selection of authentic local and international flavors.

Solaire also promises to give guests the ultimate Las Vegas gaming experience via its 18,500 square-meter casino area.

In the future, French revealed that visitors to Solaire would be able to shop for luxury brands with the opening of a mall.  Solaire’s retail component would feature 60 stores and would also include a “kids’ zone.”

“In the third quarter of 2014, we would open a facility that is bigger than what we have now. Our retail component would have 60 stores.  It would feature a garden and lots of dramatic art components; it would be huge,” he explained.

In addition, Solaire Resort and Casino would have a 1,800-seat theater which would feature Broadway shows.

All these, he added, are being done in keeping with Solaire’s promise of providing entertainment to all its guests, young and old. 

Owned and operated by Bloomberry Resorts Corp., Solaire is the first to open in the highly anticipated Entertainment City project along the Philippines’ famed Manila Bay.

Solaire Resort and Casino is one of the major sponsors of NRCE 2013 slated on August 7 and 8 at the SMX Convention Center.  This year’s edition of the annual event is expected to attract over 800 retailers, top-level retail executives and industry suppliers.

Organized by the PRA, the national organization of the country’s topnotch retailers, the NRCE 2013 would provide a venue where the Philippines’s top retailers and other stakeholders could learn the latest trends and developments in retailing and allow them to network among peers.
