MANILA, Philippines - Top retailers, industry experts and stakeholders in Asia will gather and join the 22nd National Retail Conference and Stores Asia Expo (NRCE) organized by the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) on Aug. 7-8 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Bannering the elite list of expert resource speakers for the conference are Busaba Chirathivat of Central Retail of Thailand, one of the biggest retailers in Thailand, and Bienvenido “Donnie” Tantoco III, president of Rustan’s Supercenters Inc. (Shopwise) of the Philippines.

The NRCE 2013, supported by The SM Store, Fisher Mall, Robinsons Malls and Festival Mall, with Ayala Malls, Meralco Partners, Araneta Center, PLDT Alpha, Wilcon Depot, Bench, The Generics Pharmacy, and HP, is the biggest and most important event in the Philippine retail industry.  This year’s edition of the annual event is expected to draw over 800 retailers, top-level retail executives, and industry suppliers.

NRCE overall chairman and Picture City president Paul Santos said that for more than 20 years,  the NRCE’s two-day conference and exhibit has served as the venue for productive networking and updates on the latest developments in the local and international retail scene, and established itself as an institution for discussion of issues and concerns affecting the industry.

The conference boasts of noted industry experts, both foreign and local, as speakers, and an international mix of participants.
