Seaoil eyes 95 add’l stations by yearend

MANILA, Philippines - Independent oil player Seaoil is eyeing to open 95 new retail stations by the end of 2013 after opening 25 stations in the first quarter.

Seaoil so far has 340 retail stations with the recent opening of its newest store in Negros Occidental.

The 2013 target strengthens Seaoil’s foothold in the industry as the country’s largest independent oil firm.

Seaoil president and chief executive officer Glenn Yu attributed the steady growth of the company to franchising and the quality of Seaoil’s products and services.

 â€œThe steady and consistent growth of the company is a solid testament to our dedication to customers and our belief in empowering Filipinos through franchising,” Yu said.

Seaoil offers Filipinos a lucrative franchise package and support programs.

This, Yu said, have contributed considerably to the expansion of its retail network. Seaoil provides dealers the option to develop a station from the ground up or franchise an existing station with proven revenue streams.

 â€œThe Seaoil franchise program is the most affordable in the country,” Yu said.

In 2009, Entrepreneur Magazine recognized Seaoil as the “Best in Franchising Support” during the annual franchise awards.

Entrepreneur cited Seaoil for ‘providing franchisees with continuous training, marketing assistance, and pre-opening, and ongoing support as well as their fidelity to their obligations in the franchise agreement.’

Seaoil has also been named the 2010 “Best Homegrown Franchise” at the Entrepreneur Magazine Franchise Awards, and was awarded the 2009 Franchise Marketing of The Year by the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA), the company also said yesterday.
