PFA holds series of regional franchise shows

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) has launched a year-long seminar series to help brand owners in the provinces expand their presence nationally and then globally in the long term through the franchising mode.

PFA president Elizabeth “Yvette” Pardo- Orbeta announced that they are conducting at least two seminars on franchising every quarter in the different regions in the country.  Existing brand owners and budding entrepreneurs will get vital notes on important franchising-related topics such as choosing the right franchise, growing the business through with the help of franchises, access to financing, and new technologies that will boost a firm’s competitiveness.

“This seminar series is a vital component of our program to help our members expand in the regional areas as well as encourage region-based businesses to use franchising as a strategy for growth,” Orbeta emphasized.

For the second quarter, PFA is set to hold a franchise seminar in Roxas City this month and another one in Baguio in May.

Come April 19, PFA will hold the 1st Western Visayas Franchise Seminar and Expo at the El Circulo Convention, Pueblo de Panay, Roxas City. The whole-day seminar will be two-pronged with the first part targeted for aspiring franchisees and the second part aimed at helping business owners grow their business via franchising.
