MANILA, Philippines - The Southeast Asian Airlines (SEAIR) has appointed Olive Ramos as its new chief executive officer.

Ramos will take over from Patrick Tan, who will remain part of SEAIR's senior management team.

Ramos, who was previously with DHL Supply Chain Philippines, holds a Master of Busines Administration from the De La Salle University and a bachelor's degree in accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

SEAIR is currently a 40 percent-owned associate airline of Tiger Airways Holdings. SEAIR adopts Tiger Airway’s business model and offers value fares to domestic and international destinations within a five-hour flying radius of the Philippines.

“We are pleased to welcome Olive Ramos to the SEAIR team. With her strong logistics and financial background, capabilities in organizational development and operations, and intricate understanding of the Philippine market, we are confident that she will be able to steer our Philippine operations forward,” said SEAIR chairman Koay Peng Yen.

Ramos is also a committee chair of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP), an organization of business professionals in the logistics and supply chain industry, and a director of the Philippine Association of Management Accountants (PAMA).
