Misys expands Phl operations
MANILA, Philippines - Misys, the global leader in financial services software solutions, is expanding its Philippine operations with plans to invest about $25 million a year in the next 10 years.
Misys recently transferred to a newly expanded office and occupies four floors in the LEED-designated Zuellig Building in Makati City. It has secured a $3 million 10-year lease contract with Zuellig.
The new office, which will allow Misys to serve its growing customer base in the Philippines, will accommodate more than 500 people in a new R & D and customer support facility in one central location.
Misys has half of its employees based in Asia, serving more than 500 customers in the region and 1,800 customers across the world. The company has had a presence in the Philippines for 23 years and in Asia for over 30 years. The firm serves 22 customers including Philippines Veterans Bank, East West Bank, and Philippine Bank of Communications. Misys has become the leading provider of banking and capital market technology solutions to the country’s growing financial services industry.
Misys CEO Bret Bolin, said: “We’re delighted to be operating in the central business district nearer to our banking and treasury clients and to have relocated our Philippines office to the iconic Zuellig building, recognized for its leading sustainability design and as the country’s first green office building.”

Misys considers Manila as one of its global development centers aside from Bangalore and Beijing.
In the Philippines, it has 22 customers and is now talking with several other prospective clients.
