Insular Life offers I-Peso Enhancer

MANILA, Philippines - Largest Filipino insurer Insular Life, once again takes advantage of favorable market conditions to launch another limited offer product as a viable investment alternative for individual investors.

The company announces the launch of I-Peso Enhancer, a singer-pay product that provides annual returns ranging from 4.25 percent to 5.25 percent, depending on the amount of investment. These rates are generally higher than that of common savings instruments.

I-Peso Enhancer will provide these guaranteed returns every year, for seven years, after which, the investor gets back 100 percent of his investment. Insurance coverage is also provided during the seven-year period.

“With the continuous strengthening of the Philippine economy and the prevailing low interest rates, it is now difficult to get a decent return for a P250,000 investment. Given Insular Life’s experience in financial management and long-term financial planning, we were able to find a mix of financial vehicles that allows us to provide these returns to the Filipino investors. We are just glad that the opportunity came in time for the celebration of Insular Life’s 102nd anniversary this Nov. 25,” said Insular Life chairman and chief executive officer Vicente R. Ayllon.

I-Peso Enhancer will be processed on guaranteed issue offer (GIO) basis up to a total of P25-million single premium coordinated with all existing Insular Life GIO products.
