Epson rolls out new cost-effective printer

MANILA, Philippines - Epson Philippines Corp. is rolling out three new printers designed to allow users to save on running costs in line with its aim of achieving higher sales.

Epson is now offering new printers under the Expression brand which are:Epson Expression ME-10 single function printer, ME-101 All-in-One and the ME-301 All-in-One that has Wi-Fi capability.

To help lower the costs of printing for users, the ME-10 and ME-101 printers use very affordable ink with the black cartridge worth only P185 and the color cartridge priced at P355 each.

For users requiring superior print durability and permanence, the ME-301 uses DURABrite Ultra pigment inks that produce smudge and waterproof prints.

The printers have a small environmental footprint by their use of individual ink cartridges to allow users to maximize cost savings by changing only the ones that have been depleted.

All the new printers have a maximum print resolution of 5760 x 1440 for extremely smooth gradations for both grayscale and color documents and photos, and can print 24 pages per minute (ppm) in mono printing and 13 ppm in color printing under the ink saving draft mode.

The new printers are seen to help drive higher sales for the company.

“Epson’s entry-level inkjet printers have always been very popular for the incredible value they give our customers,” Epson Philippines general manager Donna Ferro said.

“We are therefore very confident that the new Epson Expression models, with their low supplies cost, will reinforce the success of this range,” she said further.

Earlier this month, Epson Philippines launched the new L-series printers, the lowest priced in the market, to support the company’s higher sales goal. – Louella Desiderio
