PAL extends 'Fly All You Can' promo
Manila, Philippines - Flag carrier Philippine Airlines Inc. (PAL), a unit of diversified conglomerate San Miguel Corp. (SMC), has extended its “Fly All You Can” promo covering both international and domestic flights due to strong demand from travelers.
Due to overwhelming response to the promo, PAL extended the promo, which was supposed to end last July 13, by five more days to July 18.
“The five-day extension will enable PAL to accommodate the surge of bargain hunters who want to avail of the Fly All You Can passes that entitled them to unlimited PAL tickets to 11 regional and two domestic destinations,” PAL said in a statement.
The airline said special fares would be made available at a couple of forthcoming travel expos for travelers who may be looking for discounted tickets not covered by the Fly All You Can promo.
It pointed out that PAL would participate in the Travel Madness Expo at the SMX Convention Center of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City from July 20 to July 22 where heavily discounted tickets would be up for grabs.
The airline is now conducting the 1st PAL Cebu Travel Expo at SM City Cebu to allow travel bugs from Cebu and nearby communities to purchase PAL’s low-priced tickets.
“PAL’s promos are intended to make travelers enjoy the benefits of value-for-money fares when they plan their trips ahead of time. Airline tickets are way, way cheaper when bought long before the intended date of departure,” PAL said.
PAL’s latest promo launched last July 6 offers unlimited flights to 11 regional and two domestic destinations for as low as $318 in economy and $1,318 business class to passengers buying the Fly All You Can pass.
The buyers could fly as many times as they want to Cebu and Davao, or from Manila to Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Saigon, Jakarta, Beijing, Shanghai, Bali, and Xiamen as well as the Singapore-Jakarta sector.
Under the promo, PAL said the Fly All You Can pass must be converted into any number of tickets to any of the designated destinations within one month after purchase of the pass.
Likewise, travelers could visit the same city more than once and unlimited transfers in Manila are also permitted. PAL clarified that the tickets availed through the Fly All You Can pass should be used within eight weeks from date of first travel or on/before Dec. 10 this year.
The airline reiterated that tickets issued under the Fly All You Can pass do not include government taxes, fees and surcharges. Taxes vary according to destination, wherein the total additional charge for flights to Cebu is P913 while for flights to Davao is P1,137.
Holders of Fly All You Can passes could also avail of special fares to Australia, Japan and India wherein round-trip fares for both on economy and business class are reduced by as much as $100 on flights to Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Osaka and New Delhi.
PAL advised holiday travelers to watch out for upcoming promos to be launched by the airline in time for the Christmas season as the tickets purchased under the Fly All You Can promo could only be used until Dec. 10.
“Since Fly All You Can tickets can be used up to December, travelers can plan their trips early for the Christmas season through various PAL special fare promos,” PAL said.
