Seminar tackles 6 thinking tools

MANILA, Philippines - The Center for Global Best Practices (www.cgbp.org) is introducing a cutting edge thinking method that has changed the way the world’s successful business leaders think. It will launch a two-day pioneering seminar entitled, “Six Thinking Hats^®” – a powerful thinking method that puts a systematic structure to one’s thinking. This program is from a book written by Dr. Edward de Bono, who is the world’s foremost and recognized authority in thinking. The event will be held on May 9 & 10 at the Edsa Shangri-la Hotel, Mandaluyong City.

 The event will feature Rene C. de Jesus, the first Filipino certified instructor in the Philippines in the three world-class Edward de Bono Thinking Methods (Six Thinking Hats^®, Direct Attention Thinking Tools™ [DATT™], and Lateral Thinking^®.  He is the president of ThinkTools Training and Consulting and spent eleven years as an expatriate executive in Jakarta and Manila, organizing or managing marketing operations of joint-venture life insurance companies. From 1998 to 2001, he worked for Allstate Insurance Company (USA), and was assigned to the company’s Southeast Asia Regional Headquarters in Manila. As Regional Recruitment & Training Director for Southeast Asia, he was responsible for all recruiting and training operations of Allstate Life Insurance companies in Southeast Asia.Rene, the “1997 Toastmasters International’s Runner up Winner” at the Toastmasters International Speech Contest held in New Orleans, USA, makes the Six Thinking Hats^® an enjoyable and inspiring learning experience with humor and enthusiasm.
