Vista Land set to expand
MANILA, Philippines - Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc., the holding firm for most of the real estate properties of the family of Sen. Manuel Villar, said it is vigorously expanding its presence in emerging markets in the countryside through its flagship brand Camella.
Camella president Jerylle Luz C. Quismundo said the company is developing a master-planned community on an 11-hectare property in Ilocos Sur as well as a residential subdivision in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
Camella, a unit of Vista Land catering to the mid-market segment, has built more than 250,000 homes over the past 36 years, unmatched in the horizontal housing segment. It maintains a strong presence in Metro Manila and in 28 provinces and 56 cities and municipalities.
Parent firm Vista Land has set a capital expenditure program of P15 billion this year, 45 percent higher than the 2011 level.
Located along McArthur National Highway, Camella Candon will preserve Ilocos Sur’s Filipino-Spanish heritage.
Down south, the company is developing Camella Puerto Princesa, an eight-hectare house-and-lot project in Brgy Bancao. Floor areas will range from 40 square meters to 179 sqm.
The house-and-lot packages will be priced at between P1 million and P4.7 million.
Camella Puerto Princesa will be developed into a Caribbean-theme gated community with amenities such as clubhouse, basketball court playground, a commercial area and shuttled service.
Camella’s projects uphold parent Vista Land’s vision of providing quality, affordable homes for every Filipino, whether living in the Philippines or working overseas, and homebuyers are assured of a secure atmosphere of a community-based and well thought-out Pinoy neighborhood.
