Steel maker hails NBI action on fake products

-

MANILA, Philippines - Stainless steel manufacturer Allegeni lauded the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for acting on their complaints filed against retailers selling counterfeit products bearing its company name and logo at various hardware supply shops and stores.

“As we meticulously maintain our good reputation of providing users with world-class stainless steel sheets, we also have the responsibility to protect consumers from acquiring low quality and sub-standard imitations of our products,” said Allegeni Stainless Steel in a statement.

After verifying the complaints of Allegeni Stainless Steel on the alleged proliferation of fake products, the NBI conducted a series of simultaneous raids to confiscate counterfeit stainless steel sheets found at the warehouses of sellers engaged in economic sabotage and violation of intellectual property rights.
