MANILA, Philippines - A forum on “Crisis Management” will be conducted by CommBiz, Inc. on Feb. 22 & 23, at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Ortigas Ave. corner ADB Ave., Pasig City. Interested parties may call tel. 746-1468 & 475-9996. Mobiline: 0917-3886457. Email: [email protected]. Ber Pacheco, president of CommBiz, Inc., said private and government agencies always run the risk of a crisis management situation – be it financial corporate image, product problem or fortuitous event related. Avoiding a crisis situation to happen is the most effective way in dealing with it. However, if it is inevitable, Management should be prepared and must be able to identify its weakest point and ready with a crisis management plan. In this forum, participants will have a chance to know not only to organize the right people to comprise a crisis management team, but also to discover the new approach to manage it. Invited to share their expertise are: Rafael Perfecto, president, Magnitude Human Resource Development; Joe Zaldariaga Sr., manager and head of external communication, Meralco; Carlos Gundran, M.D., Emergency Medicine, Philippine General Hospital; Col. Mateo Luga, consultant in security management; Resty Perez, a journalist from 1976 to 1992, including stints as News Editor of the Philippine STAR (till 1990) and the Manila Chronicle (till July 1992).
