ArthaLand to launch 2nd tower of BGC project

- Zinnia B. Dela Peña -

MANILA, Philippines - ArthaLand is getting ready to launch the second tower of its flagship project, the P4.5 billion Arya Residences in Bonifacio Global City.

Angela De Villa-Lacson, president and chief executive officer of ArthaLand, said the second tower will be 43 storeys high and will house 261 units.

Lacson said the first tower, comprising 301 units, is now 70 percent sold. Units with sizes ranging from 66 square meters to 225 sqm are priced at between P8 million and P31 million each and are targeted for turnover to customers by 2014.

Arya Residences is the first residential high-rise in the country to be registered under the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program with the certification goal of gold.

Passing this internationally recognized third party rating system translates to tip top building efficiency, less maintenance cost, and healthy environment.

ArthaLand’s decision to go green and sustainable for its project is in response to a shifting global trend toward healthier environments that enable people to live well, and live right.

Last year, CPG Holdings Inc., the Po family’s holding firm, bought a third of Artha Land.

CPG Holdings, Inc. is wholly-owned by Century Canning Corp. under the Century Pacific Group, makers of leading tuna brand Century Tuna, 555 and Blue Bay canned products.

The Century Pacific Group also includes The Pacific Meat Co. Inc., makers of Argentina meat products, and Snow Mountain Dairy Corp., makers of Angel and Birch Tree milk products, among others.
