Former Marinduque congressman Edmund Reyes Jr. heads the new appointees as executive director of the TRB, the main transport agency responsible for managing and regulating toll fees for the major north and south superhighways in the country.

Reyes’ appointment was made effective yesterday. He replaced retired executive director Manuel Imperial.

Reyes, during his stint in the Lower House, was a member of key committees such as public works and highways, transportation and communications and ways and means.

Also appointed as new board member at TRB is lawyer Pablo Roces Nava III, a native of Jaro, Iloilo City, and a practicing corporate and legal counsel for various organizations. He is also a former member of Sangguniang Bayan for the Dumangas, Iloilo.
