Ayala Malls wins top Quill awards

MANILA, Philippines - Ayala Malls, the premier lifestyle and entertainment destination in the country, was conferred four major awards in the 10th Philippine Quill Awards. The Award of Excellence in Communication Management was given to two of Ayala Malls’ pioneering programs, the annual Merchant Rewards and Ayala Malls Foreign Concerts and Events (Mall Tradition Redefined).

Now on its 13th year, the annual Ayala Malls Merchant Rewards is the first and only merchant recognition program in the country. Participated in by over 3,000 Ayala Malls merchants, it has two components: The awards night and a two-day trade conference where industry experts and international speakers share their learning and best practices with merchant participants.

The second award of excellence, “Mall Tradition Redefined”, puts Ayala Malls in the forefront of redefining mall entertainment. To continuously delight its loyal patrons, Ayala Malls always brings in “firsts” in the country by mounting only world-class concerts and events featuring internationally acclaimed artists.

Among the awe-inspiring events and lifestyle personalities brought in by Ayala Malls are the Fab 5, international fashion photographer Nigel Barker for Style Origins, and most recently, apl.de.ap of Black Eyed Peas and R&B artist Mike Posner.

A Quill merit in communication management was given to Market! Market’s “Organic Vegetable Roof Garden” and Ayala Center Cebu’s “Xin Nian: Cebu Chinese Festival 2011.”
