CEB lowers fares to Bangkok for shoppers
MANILA, Philippines - Cebu Pacific (CEB) lowers fares to Bangkok by as much as 57 percent in a sale from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, 2011 or until seats last, for travel from Dec. 15, 2011 until March 31, 2012.
Passengers can buy P888 seats from Clark to Bangkok and P1,488 seats from Manila to Bangkok. CEB flies to the capital of Thailand twice weekly from Clark and 10 times weekly from Manila.
“We encourage passengers to make this Christmas even more festive with holiday shopping in Bangkok. They will not only get to get the best value for money with the gifts they buy, but the lowest possible Bangkok airfare with this seat sale,” said CEB VP for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog.
According to the latest advisory from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, businesses and hotels in Central Bangkok operate normally, including those in the following areas: Khao San Road, Pratunam, Central World, Siam Paragon, The Emporium and Chinatown, among others. CEB also holds a seat sale to select domestic and Greater China destinations, for travel from Jan. 1 to March 31, 2012.
Up for grabs are P88 seats from Manila to Roxas, from Davao to Cagayan de Oro, and from Zamboanga to Tawi-Tawi. P288 seats are also available from Manila to Cauayan or Tuguegarao, from Cebu to Clark or Zamboanga, from Davao to Zamboanga, and from Cagayan de Oro to Iloilo.
Those headed from Manila to Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Coron (Busuanga), Davao or General Santos can also buy P888 seats.
Passengers can also take advantage of CEB’s P488 seats from Clark to Hong Kong or Macau, and P888 seats from Manila to Hong Kong or Macau, and from Cebu to Hong Kong.
P1,488 seats are also available for those traveling from Manila to Guangzhou or Taipei, while P2,488 seats are available from Manila to Beijing or Shanghai.

The airline also offers free web check-in service with free seat selection, from 48 hours up to 4 hours before all Airbus flights. Passengers automatically get assigned a seat for free during the web check-in process through the Manage Bookings section in www.cebupacificair.com.
CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 18 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. By the end of 2011, CEB will be operating a fleet of 37 aircraft – with an average age of less than 3.5 years – one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2012 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 23 Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders, and 2 Airbus A320 aircraft on operating lease agreements.
