MANILA, Philippines - Making fashion jewelry is very satisfying to do as it will bring out your own unique creative talents. It is fun to do, it is a good stress reliever and many people have gone on to create their own fashion jewellery business because it is also very profitable.
The Golden Treasure Skills Development Program will conduct a seminar on fashion jewelry and accessories making on Nov. 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the College of Social Work and Community Development, Magsaysay Ave., cor. Ylanan St., University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.
There will be a hands-on experience wherein participants will be taught the easy way of how to string up beads and tie up colorful crystals and stones to transform them into bracelet, earrings, ring, necklace, anklet, slippers, beaded bag, wallet, cellphone holder and other accessories using indigenous materials.
Also to be discussed are sourcing of materials, costing and a lecture on entrepreneurship on how to start and maintain a business on jewelry and accessories making will also be discussed.
Lunch and snack will be served while all the materials for hands-on training will be provided.
