Insular Life extends I-Peso investment offering period

MANILA, Philippines - Insular Life has extended the offering of its I-Peso Optimizer until Sept. 28 to give investors more time to avail themselves of the investment product that protects wealth against inflation.

I-Peso Optimizer, a peso-denominated investment that comes with free life insurance, can be availed for a minimum one-time premium of P250,000.

I-Peso Optimizer provides investors with the following benefits: 5-year life insurance coverage equal to the fund value or 125 percent of the single premium less 125 percent of withdrawals; 100 percent capital protection plus a minimum guaranteed return of five percent of the single premium if held to maturity; Unlimited upside potential for greater returns through the performance of global equity markets in the sectors of oil and gas exploration and production, and agribusiness.

The investment product is Insular’s first Philippine peso-denominated structured variable product that gives investors viable options to invest their peso in global equities for better capital appreciation.
