Landco Pacific sales up 19% to P1.21 billion in H1
MANILA, Philippines - High-end leisure estate developer Landco Pacific Corp. said sales rose 19 percent in the first half of the year to P1.21 billion.
“We had a very good start at the first quarter of 2011. Sales continue to be brisk midway through the second half of the year. If this trend continues, we expect to achieve our sales targets at year’s end,” said Alfred Xerez-Burgos, president and chief executive officer of Landco.
Sales came from Tribeca Private Residences in Sucat, Muntinlupa, which reported a 158 percent growth, followed by Hacienda Escudero (78 percent), WoodGrove Park in San Fernando, Pampanga (70 percent); The Courtyard at Lakewood Golf Estates in Cabanatuan City (35 percent) and Playa Laiya in San Juan, Batangas (20 percent).
Xerez-Burgos said the company intends to sustain its growth through continued expansion of existing projects and new developments.
“Products and services related to leisure, health and relaxation are selling very well, showing that the market is putting a premium on quality of life. Leisure is necessary to remain healthy and keep a sense of balance in one´s life. Landco takes that necessity a step further by offering resort-inspired communities, whether as a primary or vacation home,” Xerez-Burgos said.
