Lenovo unveils new PC line

MANILA, Philippines - Technology company Lenovo has rolled out the latest addition to its wide range of all-in-one (AIO) personal computers with the IdeaCentre B320, which delivers a compact performance complete with a full high-definition display supporting multi-touch technology and intelligent features like Hardware TV that turns the display into a regular HD TV at the click of a button.

According to leading global market research and consulting firm Display Search, all-in-one PCs have been around for years but now they are becoming a market of their own with each consecutive generation of AIOs.

Based on the firm’s recent data, all-in-one computers’ worldwide sale grew by 57 percent from 2008 to 2009. Display Search forecasts that AIO PCs will jump from the 6.95 million units sold in 2010 to 12.79 million in 2015.

And with the ability of brands such as Lenovo to reach a wide variety of design aesthetics and price points to draw the interest of consumers and commercial customers, the touch-enabled and the standard AIO PCs growth forecast shows no sign of slowing down.

“We observe that Filipinos are starting to appreciate the transformation of the computer into a media center. As the computer becomes a mainstay of the home, the Lenovo IdeaCentre B320 is an excellent addition to the Lenovo range of consumer all-in-ones as an easy to use and entertaining option. Featuring intelligent functions developed with the user in mind, such as Lenovo NaturalTouch panel, Lenovo High-Sense webcam and OneKeyTV, it is no surprise Lenovo AIOs have been increasing in popularity as they can be used by the whole family whatever their computing needs,” Lenovo Philippines country general manager Vicky Agorrilla said.

At the click of a button, the IdeaCentre B320 turns the display into an HD TV with Hardware TV (HWTV) using OneKeyTV. With HWTV, users need not start up the PC to watch television and can easily switch between computer and TV modes, or even enjoy both at the same time with the picture-in-picture function.

Complemented with integrated stereo speakers, the IdeaCentre B320 provides users with a top-quality entertainment experience, bringing music, movies and games to life.

Adding to its fun features, the IdeaCentre B320 comes with the Lenovo High-Sense webcam with YouCam software, allowing friends to video chat. It also includes performance graphics and has intelligent features like the optional Lenovo NaturalTouch Panel.

The IdeaCentre B320 is backed up with powerful second generation Intel Core i5 processors and Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0. It also features Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows7 with RapidBoot technology – allowing one to enjoy the best multimedia experience with up to 20 percent faster boot up time.

The IdeaCentre B320 offers advanced cable management to avoid cluttering valuable home space while the VESA mount allows flexible fitting anywhere around the home. Connect to devices through its optional Wireless Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and surf the web easier with its integrated high-speed 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi.

The IdeaCentre B320 protects users through the Lenovo Dynamic Brightness System which automatically adjusts screen brightness based on ambient light conditions. Also preinstalled on the IdeaCentre B320 is Lenovo’s Eye Distance System that alerts users if they approach the screen too closely. Lastly, Lenovo’s Rescue System 3.0 is another crucial tool for consumers today as it offers a painless way to backup and recover data. At the touch of a button, users can restore their Windows OS and entire hard disk drive to factory settings and recover their data.

The IdeaCentre B320 will be available by mid-August through Lenovo exclusive stores nationwide and authorized resellers with suggested retail price starting from P29,990.
