Europe direct selling giant expands Phl unit

MANILA, Philippines - Stanhome World Philippines which carries Europe’s No. 1 direct-selling brand and was launched here last March, in the south after attracting a steady-growing consumer and representative base.

“We have received positive results from our launch and our products were welcomed and well accepted by both representatives and consumers. In fact, more and more people are signing up to be Stanhome independent supervisors and managers,” Stanhome World Philippines president Ina Quiogue said.

Stanhome World Philippines started out with four service centers in Metro Manila an has expanded by launching new branches at prime locations in the south, namely in Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Butuan City.

“We are very encouraged by the results from our Cagayan de Oro and Davao branches and are optimistic that by opening a Butuan service center, we will strengthen our presence in Mindanao,” Quiogue added.

The Butuan service center opened on June 11 and was attended by Stanhome World International director general and chief executive officer German Martinez and Jose Mari Franco, the acknowledged “father of direct selling” in the Philippines. It is the seventh Stanhome World Philippines service center in three months, “a welcome addition to the previously launched branches in Muñoz, Marikina, Novaliches, Shaw Boulevard, Cagayan de Oro and Davao.”

“Mindanaoans can now go to these newly opened service centers to become Stanhome independent supervisors (SIS) and order, pick up products and deliver them to their customer,” said Quiogue. Stanhome World Philippine followers have more to look forward to as more outlets in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are set to open in the second half of 2011.
