Puregold launches Gold Card today

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Puregold Tindahan ni Aling Puring Gold Card is set to be launched today (Friday) during the penultimate day of the 6th “Tindahan ni Aling Puring” Sari-Sari Store Convention at the tent area of the World Trade Center.

Puregold store manager Kelvin Kuan said the top 500 members of the “Tindahan ni Aling Puring” club will be recognized by awarding each of them a gold card.

“The top 20 members of the club will also be recognized during the 10 a.m. launching,” said Kuan, adding that raffle and celebrities will add spice to the ceremony.

Already, thousands of “Tindahan ni Aling Puring” members have flocked to the event where they enjoyed big discounts and other perks.

The number of attendees is expected to increase starting today when the convention opens its doors to “Tindahan ni Aling Puring” non-members who want to start their own livelihood.

Members and non-members alike can also get expert advice on what kind of small-scale enterprise to put up with the help of some business experts lined-up by Puregold during the convention.

Dr. Francisco Colayco, Chinkee Tan, Francis Kong, Lloyd Luna and Jojo Baldo will continue tackling different aspects of business that would be helpful to would-be entrepreneurs and those who want to expand their existing business until the last day.

Yesterday, “Eat Bulaga” hosts and Puregold endorsers Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Jose Manalo and Ruby Rodriguez took turns in entertaining thousands of entrepreneurs.

During the jampacked opening last Wednesday, Vice President Jejomar Binay praised Puregold Price Club for helping Filipinos, especially migrant workers, start their own small business through its “Tindahan ni Aling Puring” Program.

Binay emphasized that Filipinos can earn extra income that they can use for their education and other needs from their own small business.

The Vice President also underscored the importance of micro-small-medium enterprise to the economy, saying they contribute three million jobs, or 60 percent of employment generated by all kinds of business in the country.

Binay said that with Puregold’s help, in the future, going abroad will be a choice and not a necessity.
