Globe Telecom introduces new postpaid plan with unlimited Internet usage

MANILA, Philippines -  Globe Telecom is working to keep up with the growing demand for smartphones and mobile data with its newest offer of unlimited data plans for postpaid subscribers.

It is introducing Globe My Super Surf Plan, the country’s first-ever range of fully-customizable unlimited data plans which provide subscribers with uninterrupted mobile surfing, consumable monthly fees, bonus call and text services and add-ons in a single subscription.

As part of the company’s portfolio of personalized postpaid plans, Globe My Super Surf Plan is available at Plan 999, Plan 1799 or Plan 2499. Under each data plan, subscribers can enjoy unlimited surfing without the fear of high charges or the inconvenience of bill shock. Subscribers get unlimited data to browse, chat, research, send e-mails, and do social networking on their mobile phones without having to pay on top of their monthly service fee.

Globe maintained its leadership in the mobile postpaid segment with double-digit growth numbers in revenues and subscriber base as of end-March 2011. Globe Postpaid achieved a new record high of over 120,000 gross acquisitions as of the first quarter of 2011, a 52 percent increase from last year, bringing total subscriber base to 1.15 million, up 30 percent year-on-year and eight percent quarter-on-quarter. Postpaid revenues stand at P3.6 billion, 10 percent higher than last year.
