Strengths and weaknesses
You have strengths and you certainly have weaknesses. So how do you manage both in order to be the best you can ever be? Here is my suggestion: Build on your strengths, and work around your weaknesses.
Work on your strengths without bragging, and work on your weaknesses without whining.
Your talents are uniquely from God. Your skills are what you acquire. And your character is what you need to build every single day of your life.
I used to encourage people to work highlighting and maximizing their strengths, and then to work harder in developing their weaknesses into strengths. But I was wrong there, that’s why I don’t teach that anymore.
You see, time is our most valuable resource. We got just a limited supply of it. Working on weaknesses will take a lot of that time, but the best that can achieve is to bring our weaknesses to average. And nobody wants average. The word “average” is a dirty word in today‘s society where every single person sets out to find excellence.
You may be asking, “So what do I do with my weak points?”
My answer is: “Outsource!”
Learn to work with a team. Ask people to help you in areas you are weak in, but first offer to help others with your strengths. Famous motivational speaker and author Zig Ziglar says, “You can have anything you want as long as you help others get anything they want.”

This kind of cross-training allows hotel management to keep their staff. At the same time, the staff discovers newfound excitement in novel assignments, which bring out their strengths.
Do not stay in a rut because you are unwilling to try new things!
When I was in high school, teachers complained that I never participated in recitation. I hated speaking in front of people. Reading a piece of paper made my knees tremble.
I actually never thought that I would be a speaker and trainer one day. I just tried it out. Having discovered that this is a gift that God has given, I went all out with speaking
