Century Properties reports steady sales activity for Milano Residences

MANILA, Philippines - Century Properties said its P3-billion luxury Milano Residences has seen steady sales activity since its soft launch in November last year, pushing the 53 story-building interior designed by Italian fashion house Versace to the over 20-percent sold mark.

In a briefing following the ground breaking ceremony for Milano Residences Saturday afternoon, Century Properties managing director Robbie Antonio said the residential tower is below 50 percent but above 20 percent sold only three months since its launch, reflecting strong demand for high-end residential units.

Versace, the world-renowned Italian fashion house synonymous with opulence and glamour, will provide exclusive interior designing for Milano Residences, the fourth high-rise building coming up in the 3.4-hectare mixed-use Century City complex in Makati.

Milano Residences, the first project designed and branded by Versace Home in Southeast Asia, will make available 340 limited units when it opens its doors in 2015.

Versace interiors will be featured in nearly all the building’s common areas, including the lobby, lounge, library, pool, and spa. Interior schemes by the designer will also be available to residents customizing any of the project’s private units, from one to three-bedroom apartments to penthouses and townhomes.

The one-bedroom units, with sizes ranging from 36 to 64 square meters, cost P7 million and above while the three-bedroom units called The Loggias that feature private plunge pools, sell at around P30 million apiece.

Commenting on the partnership, Gian Giacomo Ferraris, chief executive officer of Versace Group, said it was the shared vision of the two companies to “create truly extraordinary and desirable living spaces.”

Known better for its upscale clothing and accessories, Versace’s fashion empire has broadened its horizons to perfume, home furnishings and porcelain table services. Expanding from smaller objects the Versace signature now also captures luxury resorts, helicopters and limited edition supercars.

Century Properties is hoping the project will continue to elevate its status as a premier upscale real estate developer.
