Antiques show at Greenhills

MANILA, Philippines - A 24-day show organized by Prime Asia Trade Planners & Convention Organizers (PATEPCO), a top trade fair and consumer exhibit organizer, dubbed 17th National Arts & Antiques Show will be held at Greenhills from Sept. 14 to Oct. 8.

It is suggested that shoppers be in simple attire if they prefer tiangges. By this way, they can move easily and more comfortable. But beware of pickpockets and slashers. They thrive where there is a big crowd.

Shoppers can get much lower price of goods services in tiangges especially if they know how to haggle prices.

They need a complete list of all the items you plan to buy and stick to that list. The purpose of the list is to prevent from impulse buying. Then check how much cash or credit you can spend.

Then go around and compare prices. For example when shopping at Greenhills, go from one booth to another. Check the merchandise. See if it is okay.

Check for rips, dirt or smears. Ask the price. If the seller is still reluctant, pretend to leave or transfer to another booth.
