Standard Insurance transfers headquarters

MANILA, Philippines - Standard Insurance Co. Inc. has moved its corporate headquarters to the country’s business center, with address at the 28th Floor, Petron Mega Plaza Building, 358 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City.

Standard Insurance, the country’s leader in motorcar and industrial fire insurance, now occupies three floors, the 28th floor occupied by the marketing and risk management divisions, the 30th floor occupied by the finance and administration division and the 31st floor, occupied by the claims and technical division.

Standard Insurance has received an international rating of BBB+ from Global Credit Rating, has one of the highest paid-up capital in the industry. It also obtained an ISO certificate from SGS International for quality management system.

Standard Insurance president Patricia Echauz-Chilip said the consolidation of the head office operations into one office building has resulted to better coordination and more efficient flow of operations which all redound to improved client service.

“Because of the positive prospects of the industry this year, we decided to transfer our main office to accommodate the growing demands of our clients,” Echauz-Chilip explained.

In addition, the Ayala branch was moved to the 31st floor of Petron Mega Plaza, making it now the company’s head office branch. On the other hand, the previous head office located in Pedro Gil Ave. in Manila is now referred to as the company’s Manila branch.
