Top franchise firms back Franchise 2010

MANILA, Philippines - The most prominent names in the Philippine franchise sector, led by Elizabeth Pardo-Orbeta, CFE (foreground), president of the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA) and Wendy’s Philippines, converge to support Southeast Asia’s biggest franchise show, Franchise 2010: the 18th Philippine International Franchise Conference and Expo (PIFCE), slated on July 14 – 18 at the SMX Convention Center Manila.

Organized by the PFA, Franchise 2010 is bannered under the theme “Getting Ready for the World” and is poised to herald next year’s Manila-hosting of the much-awaited prestigious international event, Franchise Asia 2011, featuring the twin meetings of the World Franchise Council (WFC) and the Asia-Pacific Franchise Confederation (AFPC). 

The conference on July 14 and 15 ushers in this premier annual event, wherein local and international franchise gurus and experts will present the latest trends and developments in the global franchising arena. On July 16 to 18, the Franchise Expo will showcase the best unlimited business opportunities ranging from established and successful brands – both local and international – to new and promising franchise concepts covering every sector at various investment levels. A one-stop-shop, the Expo will also feature franchise seminars which serve as an excellent forum for business matching between franchisors and would-be franchisees. Another highlight of this four-in-one event is the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) Program, a mini-MBA course on Franchise Management, at the AIM Conference Center on July 12 and 13.
