Insular Life funds post impressive gains as of May 17

MANILA, Philippines - Insular Life achieved an all time high peso fixed, balanced and equity (net asset value per unit) NAVPU rates for its Insular Life’s Wealth Series funds at closing last, May 17.

Insular’s Fixed Income Fund fetched a 46.26-percent return, Balanced Fund obtained a 63.10-perent return while Equity Fund recorded a 99.71-percent yield, since their inception in March 2005.

The remarkable performance of these funds benefits Insular Life’s Wealth Builder and Wealth Secure policyholders. Wealth Builder is a peso-denominated, investment-linked insurance product requiring a single premium payment. 

Wealth Builder’s return depends on the growth of fund chosen by the policyholder. The investment comes with insurance coverage. Beneficiaries will get 125 percent of the premium or the fund value, whichever is higher.

Wealth Secure is a regular pay peso-denominated, investment linked insurance product. Investment yields also depend on the fund chosen by the policyholder. Wealth Secure offers more flexibility to policyholders such as the option to increase or decrease insurance coverage or increase or decrease the premium over time.
