Globe comes out with loyalty club for load retailers

-

MANILA, Philippines - Globe Telecom is set to come out with a loyalty club for its load retailers, the first of its kind in the country.

Starting this summer, Globe AutoloadMax (AMAX) retailers will be given an exclusive membership to the KaGlobe Retailer Club, which entitles qualified members to freebies and discounts from top merchants nationwide.

The KaGlobe Retailer Club is designed to reward the AMAX retailers such as owners of sari-sari stores, groceries, canteens, bakeshops, beauty parlors and market stalls for their outstanding sales performance. AMAX is the electronic reloading service of Globe that allows thousands of retailers nationwide to automatically reload prepaid credits to a Globe or TM phone.

“Globe is a company that cares for the well-being not only of its subscribers but also of its business partners and traders. KaGlobe Retailer Club is our way of giving back to our loyal retailers who continue to support us in our undertakings,” Globe consumer sales and after-sales head Ferdinand dela Cruz said.

To be a KaGlobe Retailer Club member, AMAX retailers simply have to reach a monthly AMAX transaction volume of P5,000 in an average of three months. Members will be provided with a membership card depending on the average volume of their transaction - Bronze for monthly transactions of P5,000-P9,999; Silver for P10,000-P19,999; Gold for P20,000 - P39,999; and Diamond for P40,000 and above.

KaGlobe Retailer Club members are also entitled to a free personal accident insurance and low medical consultancy fee, as well as discounts in boat fares, food and apparel purchases, recreational activities and courier services, among a host of other benefits.

The rewards will be in the form of coupon booklets and electronic coupons to be sent to the Globe AMAX SIMs of the members.

Globe national and regional trade partners that have signed up to give more incentives to AMAX retailers include Cocolife, MedAsia Philippines, Negros Navigation, Burger King, 2GO, Air Phil Express, Flying V, Planet Sports, Nike Stadium, New Balance, Nautica, The Sports Warehouse and The Ahtlete’s Foot.

To further improve their business, KaGlobe Retailer Club members will also have the opportunity to join Globe-sponsored “Salo-Salo” events for business and product training sessions being held regularly all over the country.

Dela Cruz said the salo-salo is an important step in building closer and stronger relationship with the retailers and in providing them a feeling of empowerment.

“The retailers appreciate these kinds of activities where they can air their concerns, interact directly with Globe officers and staff, and receive various negosyo tips. On our part, this is a way of getting to know our retailers better and also to ensure their awareness of our brand’s value, products and promos. We want to drive excellence in distribution by championing retailer management,” he said.

He added that members will likewise be provided with superior customer service anytime through the dedicated KaGlobe Hotline 2629 (AMAX) where they can air their inquiries and concerns.

Registration for the KaGlobe Retailer Club will start this summer to be conducted at the Salo-Salo events, territory distributor offices and hubs, and other identified sub-distributors. Globe sales heads will also personally visit some of the retailers to inform them of the program.
