Puyat Steel passes ISO audit

MANILA, Philippines - Puyat Steel Corp., the country’s pioneer world-class galvanizing company passed its first ISO surveillance audit conducted by TUV Rhineland recently. Puyat Steel Corp. manufactures the APO brand of roofing and other galvanized steel sheet products. Hurdling this ISO audit makes Puyat Steel Corp. one of the few Philippine manufacturing companies with ISO certifications for Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2000) and Environment Management System (ISO 14001:2004), according to Virginia C. Arceo, Puyat Steel vice president for manufacturing. The Europe-based TUV Rhineland conducted the surveillance audit. TUV Rhineland is one of the most prestigious certification companies in the field of quality systems and product safety standards. Arceo said that Puyat Steel prides itself in providing customers with world-class quality products produced in world-class facilities and has for the past years have consistently delivered high quality products and services to its customers.
