Metrobank ATMs online on long weekend

MANILA, Philippines - Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co. (Metrobank) announced that its automated teller machines (ATMs) will remain online to serve the public during the long weekend.

“When our customers are remembering their departed loved ones, we want to make sure that banking is the least of their concerns,” said Dennis Suico, Metrobank executive vice president and head of operations. “With the combined payday and non-working holiday this weekend, we are expecting a larger volume of transactions. We have ensured that our Metrobank ATMs are readily accessible and available to accommodate the banking requirements of the public,” he added.

Metrobank has a consolidated network of over 1,190 ATMs. In addition to cash withdrawal, balance inquiry and automatic debit facility, Metrobank ATMs may be used to pay bills, purchase prepaid mobil phone PINs, or transfer funds to fellow BancNet member banks.
