Seminar on SEC's Revised Code set

MANILA, Philippines - The Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) is holding a special seminar titled SEC’s Revised Code of Corporate Governance’ on Nov. 13 at Edsa Shangri-La, Mandaluyong City. It is now mandatory for all corporations to comply with the SEC’s 2009 Revised Code of Corporate Governance. This new regulatory framework imposed by the government took effect on July 15, 2009. This program will feature Justina Fernandez-Callangan, corporation finance department of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); C.A. Gerard M. Lukban, commission secretary and spokesperson of the SEC; and Rodolfo C. Salazar who has over 30 years in CEO-level positions in multinational companies. He will share his knowledge on how he has successfully implemented corporate governance in companies such as First Pacific, Bayantel, Pepsi Co, Pfizer, Warner Lambert, and Bristol Myers. This program is accredited by Integrated Bar of the Philippines. Lawyers get MCLE credit units. CPAs get CPE credit units.
