GlutaMax exceeds sales expectations
MANILA, Philippines - Despite the widespread effects of the economic meltdown, new skin whitening marker-entrant GlutaMAX continues to perform beyond expectations with its sales for the first half of the year more than tripling the original target set by the company.
Robert Gerard L. Nazal II, chairman of GlutaMAX manufacturer Healthwell Nutraceuticals, Inc., said they expect to further improve the sales of GlutaMAX Glutathione whitening soap and capsule with the expansion of the brand’s distribution and retail network.
“Right now, we are just in the Top 20 chain stores. We plan to expand this to the Top 50,” Nazal emphasized, as he explained that GlutaMAX is currently present and available in only 400 of the 700 Mercury Drug outlets nationwide.
By establishing the products’ presence in all its outlets, the Healthweall executive said GlutaMAX Glutathione capsule (575 mg) and soap (135 g) will also easily increase its Mercury Drug sales by 30 percent.
Paulo N. Legaspi, Healthwell president and CEO, attributed the strong showing of GlutaMAX to the success of the company’s marketing campaign.
“We were able to generate a lot of (product use) trials and when they tried it and proved that the quality is really good, they started to make repeat orders. Compared to other brands, our products have higher Glutathione dosage,” Legaspi stressed.
