CONSLA trustee wins Shell EVP award

MANILA, Philippines - Retired PAF Col. Ricardo L. Nolasco Jr., president of the Confederation of Non-Stock Savings and Loan Associations, Inc. (CONSLA), congratulated Alain Jomarie Santos for winning the Shell Executive Vice President (EVP) Award in the Operational Excellence and People Category for their nomination, “Retail Training Idol: Best in Class Performance while Lowering Cost.” Santos, who is a CONSLA trustee and treasurer, is a member of the Shell Retail Philippines Operational Excellence Team which won recently the said award.

Their creative program aims to help retailers increase their staff’s commitment to deliver operational excellence. Shell EVP for Retailer Josef Walti praised the Retail Philippines team for their accomplishment.

He said their nomination was exceptional and is a clear example of best practice for the rest of the organization. Santos’ teammates are: retail operations & operational excellence manager Randy del Valle, team leader; and retail training coordinator Karla Lukban-Zarate. Santos – who is also a Shell Employees SLAI president – received 3,000 euros worth of travel as prize for their achievement.
