Seminar on best practices in spend management set

MANILA, Philippines - In these difficult and challenging economic times, there are many proven approaches and novel ways to achieve bottom line savings. The Center for Global Best Practices in collaboration with Transprocure – the global procurement solutions company — is launching a special seminar entitled Best Practices In Procurement and Spend Management, scheduled on May 28 & 29 at the Peninsula Manila, Makati City.

The seminar will feature three experts in procurement and spend Management. The first lecturer will be Charlie P. Villasenor, president and CEO of Transprocure. He is well-known internationally as the procurement icon in Asia, having launched and spearheaded global procurement transformations of many companies across different industries.

Another lecturer will be Walter E. Buczynski, CPSM, CPM, CPCM, who has 30 years experience in implementing supply chain information systems, strategic sourcing, and procurement programs for multinational companies across Asia.

Mark Soren Mojares, VP of technology and global delivery services, Transprocure, will also share his knowledge and expertise in spend management implementation. He is known to be responsible in successfully setting up the largest infrastructure for e-marketplace in the Philippines.
