Two new call centers offer 800 jobs

- Ma. Elisa Osorio  -

MANILA, Philippines - The opening of new call centers in The Fort will create 300 new jobs and an additional 500 more before the end of this year.

ACE Global Contact Center Philippines Inc. has launched its first 300 seats in the country at its new site at the One World Square Building in McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Joseph Berardi, president and CEO of ACE Global projects, said that by the end of 2009, at least 500 seats would be added to their current number of seats with more companies needing to outsource their back-office processes, including debt collection.

ACE Global is a North America-based business process outsourcing (BPO) company specializing in debt collection. It has been in the business for over 30 years and has provided services to banks, retailers, oil companies, utility companies, hospitals, communication companies, academic institutions, and mortgage lenders.

Meanwhile, Zenta Philippines Inc. likewise launched its service delivery center at the One World Square Building in McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City. It projected revenue growth of 20 percent within the year.

Zenta expects growth in the BPO industry, and has a positive outlook for 2009. “As a firm we anticipate our revenue growth to exceed 20 percent in the next 12 months and our strategic expansion in Manila will play an important role in our company’s growth,” said Zenta Philippines Inc. president and CEO Jack Freker.

Freker added that Zenta will very likely surpass the projected 30 percent growth range of the BPO industry by a wide margin as they double their staff in the next few months.

Zenta is one of the world’s fastest-growing Indian business process outsourcing (BPO) companies, with headquarters located in the US. It manages campaigns from credit card and mortgage servicing to accounts receivable management and healthcare revenue cycle management.

Zenta said it invested in the Philippines because of the availability of capable and competent English-speaking workers, and attractive and competitive labor and infrastructure costs.

Zenta is looking at building a 300-seat site that would generate more employment.
