Isuzu names Dealer of the Year

MANILA, Philippines - Isuzu Cagayan de Oro was named to receive Isuzu’s 2008 Dealer of the Year (DOYA) Award during ceremonies held at One Esplanade, Pasay City recently. Other awardees were Rommel San Gabriel of Isuzu Makati who won as Sales Executive (SE) of the Year, Isuzu Mandaue which was named SE Team of the Year.

Isuzu Cagayan de Oro also emerged as best VisMin dealership in sales, parts, service and customer service operations.

The win by the Cagayan de Oro dealership marked the 1st time in five years of Isuzu DOYA that a provincial dealership bested 19 other Isuzu dealers, in a showdown of predetermined sales and after sales metrics, measuring the Isuzu network’s performance on sales performance, implementation of sales support programs, maintenance of dealership facilities, compliance to parts and service and database operations parameters.

Isuzu Alabang, 2006 and 2007 back-to-back DOYA was 2nd best over-all, while 2004 and 2005 DOYA winner Isuzu Makati, got 3rd best.

The most improved 2008 Isuzu dealer was Isuzu Commonwealth.

A total of 18 citations (two for the sales force and 16 for dealers) were handed during the ceremony that coincided with the 1st Dealer Conference for 2009, and simultaneous recognitions on Sales Volume Achievement as well as graduation rites for the Isuzu Sales Executive Accreditation Program (ISEAP).

“The 2008 DOYA highlighted our dealer network’s consistent compliance of our stringent standards, indicating their eagerness to support IPC’s efforts in continuously improving dealer operations with the view to serving our customers better,” noted Yuki Kato, Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) executive vice- president.
